How "Fill The Truck" Works
Talk to your co-workers, friends and family and decide on an amount of food you want to pledge. For cash donations, $1 = 2lbs of food.
Fill out the registration form below with your pledge and company info (if applicable). We'll post your pledge on Facebook (minimum 200 pound pledge to have your logo on our page, smaller pledges are listed), and list it on our website.
Start raising your food/cash donations. Tell your friends, family and customers. (see the list below for ideas of items the food banks need).
On October 3rd we will come by to pick up and weigh your donation and then deliver it to the food banks. We'll post the amount you raised on our Facebook page, and list it on the web site (for one year). Your pledge will also be mentioned on the MooseFMmorning show with Rick Lowes.
Note: We will be in contact with you prior to October 3rd to see how your food drive is progressing and to arrange time for pick up. We also require a web link and/or logo to promote your business/organization. Got Questions? Contact us
CASH DONATIONS for area Food Banks are also welcome. Cash donations allow food banks to purchase perishable items that are in short supply such as dairy products, meat and vegetables. ONE dollar donated equals TWO pounds of food. Cheques should be made payable to the Central Food Network with "FILL THE TRUCK" on the memo line.
